The purpose of this video is to highlight how GIS can be used to improve the world around us. I applied spatial analysis to the local fire and rescue services of my hometown and have come up with some solid evidence showing that changes need to be made to how jurisdictions are drawn.
The scope of this project goes beyond what is shown in the video, but I hope it still displays the power GIS gives us as planners.
